詠春自衛術 

 

Wing Chun is a Chinese self-defence system, which is said to have been created by a woman more than 300 years ago. The system’s fundamental principles are economy of movement, efficiency, and technique over strength. 

The system is focused around the centrelines, diagonal lines and angles. The theory behind the basic elements includes: balance, timing, control and simultaneity in defence and attacks.

There are different lineages of Wing Chun depending on the interpretation of the system. We follow Grandmaster Wan Kam Leung who modified and improved the system so it has become more practically applicable, hence the name Practical Wing Chun.

Practical Wing Chun is suitable for everyone regardless of size, gender and age as brute force, strength and acrobatic abilities do not play a decisive role.

In addition to learning effective self-defence techniques, you will:

  • get fitter and be in better shape

  • gain more self-confidence and well-being

  • increase motor awareness 

  • Improve body control and focus of the mind

  • learn how to be disciplined

  • meet new friends with positive energies 

Normal Group Class is for teens and adults regardless of gender, age or size as acrobatic moves or brute force does not play a crucial role.

The philosophy in Practical Wing Chun techniques are based on logic, science and not fighting force, but rather using the opponents force against themselves. With this in mind we will provide our students with the best possible tools if they should ever face a dangerous situation.

普通班為提供給任何性別,年齡和身材的成年人的課堂。實用詠春拳的哲理在於符合邏輯,科學和利用對方力量的技巧而非特技般的動作和蠻力。學員只要牢記這一點就可從我們身上獲得面臨危險時的一大防身利器。除了實際的手法外我們亦相信健康的身體和心靈也同樣重要,所以我們一個半小時​​的課堂會劃分成三個部分,分別是:技術,體能和健康發展,以讓你同時於多方面受惠。

為什麼要學詠春?

 

在現代社會,武術(功夫)已經被視為一種運動,並越來越多走入辦公室白領精英層。成年人選擇武術,有的是在實現自己童年的功夫夢,有的是為強健身體,有的是為了防身;兒童學習武術,有的是興趣,有的是因為父母的建議;無論出於何種動機開始學習武術,可以肯定的是,這是正確的。

為何選擇詠春?詠春又是什麼?

 

詠春拳是學習簡單和快捷的實用格鬥技巧,對練習者本身的身體條件,年齡,性別幾乎說沒有要求。詠春能發展到今時今日,皆因詠春拳的核心理論和技巧合乎人體結構科學,動靜有度,是一門有科學理論依據,不因練習者本身的身體條件,年齡,性別差別造成功夫高低差別的武術,其技巧核心是以小敵大,以弱勝強;要訣是借力,打力,卸力。以上幾句概括出詠春不是以力量作為先決條件,而是以技術來禦敵的武術。

站在現代社會,我學習了功夫有何作用?

 

我平時不會與人爭執,也不會去到不安全的場所,學武只是消磨時間或者當運動,我還是更喜歡去健身房。有這種理解的不在少數。如果以突發情況遇到危險來說的機率確實很低,但人生沒有重來,一次能夠用到保護自己就夠。重點是,在學習詠春中,不斷訓練到反射神經會做出自然反應進行閃避和防範,這種神經反應會讓你在工作和學習中都不斷受益;其次:詠春可以幫助到練習者精神放鬆,符合人體架構科學的動作讓身體架構被充分延展,雙重作用下,練習詠春的人遇事自然非常冷靜並放鬆。
